Project Planner

As Project Planner at Jet Aviation you will be planning and scheduling as well as monitoring the aircraft projects and documentation process under the guidance of the supervisor project planning, in accordance with the applicable Jet Aviation procedures, Aviation Regulations and customer requirements.

  • Plans and prepares manufacturing production schedules and departmental workflows to establish sequence and lead time of each production operation to meet shipping dates according to project customer orders
  • Plans for and schedules work packages for the maintenance execution including transferring customer PO into a work, prepares work cards, technical data (including customer specific data) and assigns resource (manhours/scheduling) for the work scope.
  • Checks and confirms regulatory approval versus customer requested work scope.
  • Coordinates sub-contractor and vendor availability and organization.
  • Coordinates with Material Planner on parts, spares and RMU kit scheduling.
  • Checks availability and serviceability of all tooling and equipment in conjunction with SCM / Tool store for the defined work scope
  • Sends customer acceptance forms in advance for scheduled inputs.
  •  Mechanical/technical apprenticeship (preferably in aviation or related field)
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience within a Planning department (ideally in a Part 145 or PMO organization)
  • Good understanding of planning / scheduling  processes and procedures
  • Good understanding of the aerospace industry, OEMs, and the regulatory framework
  • Good MS Office skills
