The Project Associate will support the implementation of the SORAE project, working closely with the Project Manager and project partners. The role will contribute to effective coordination, implementation, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and the integration of gender considerations across all project activities.

The Project Associate will provide technical, administrative, and coordination support to ensure the smooth delivery of project activities, while contributing to progress monitoring, compliance with donor requirements, and gender-responsive programming.

Project Associate for the SORAE Project, Kosovo, 50%

Your main responsibilities:

1. Key Responsibilities

1.1 Project Implementation & Coordination

  • Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and implementing project activities in line with the project document
  • Maintain regular communication with project partners and stakeholders
  • Support the organization of meetings, workshops, trainings, and events
  • Track activity implementation against work plans and timelines

Assist in 

1.2 Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting

  • Support the development and implementation of M&E tools and systems
  • Collect, compile, and analyze project data (quantitative and qualitative)
  • Assist in tracking project indicators and progress against targets
  • Support preparation of internal and donor reports (monthly, quarterly, final)
  • Maintain organized project documentation and records

1.3 Gender Mainstreaming & Inclusion   

  • Support integration of gender equality and social inclusion principles into all project activities
  • Assist in collecting sex-disaggregated data and gender-sensitive indicators
  • Contribute to gender analysis and reporting
  • Ensure that project activities are inclusive and responsive to the needs of different groups.Assist in collecting sex-disaggregated data and gender-sensitive indicators

1.4 Administrative & Operational Support

  • Provide administrative support to the Project Manager
  • Prepare meeting minutes, correspondence, and project-related documentation
  • Ensure compliance with organizational and donor procedures

 1.5 Communication & Coordination

  • Assist the project manager in liaising with partners, beneficiaries, and stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Support visibility and communication activities where relevant
  • Facilitate information flow between project team members and partners

 

2. Deliverables

  • Timely support to implementation of project activities
  • Regular updates on project progress and challenges
  • Accurate and organized project data and documentation
  • Contributions to reports and M&E outputs
  • Evidence of gender mainstreaming in project activities

 

To be successful you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Project Management, Gender Studies, or a related field (Master’s degree is an asset)
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in project support or coordination
  • Experience in monitoring and evaluation is required
  • Experience working with NGOs, international organizations, or donor-funded projects is preferred
  • Familiarity with gender mainstreaming approaches is an advantage
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Good analytical and reporting skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Fluency in Albanian and English
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to gender equality and inclusive development
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Understanding of local context and stakeholders is an asset.
