As Verity Studios’ drones come to stages worldwide and production volumes rise, we are seeking to complement our team with an experienced technical manager, who will assist customers in bringing drone show systems to their venues. The successful candidate will interface with customers and will be responsible for the technical planning and execution of drone show productions. This position will require frequent travel to customers’ sites.
Technical Manager for Drone Shows
Your tasks will consist of being the interface with customers for all technical aspects of drone shows, from conception and planning to installation and day-to-day operation. You will configure and test drone show systems in house prior to new releases and support and train drone show system operators and installation crews, on site and remotely. In addition, you will provide issue reports and feature wishlists to the development team, based on customer interactions and on-site observations. You will also contribute to and review user support documentation such as user manuals and operational guidelines, as well as create safety assessments; determine relevant legislation and obtain relevant certifications/permits.
The successful candidate must have experience in the live events industry as well as experience in the installation and operation of stage equipment. Furthermore, he or she should have very good written and spoken English, a structured, detail-oriented, and proactive work style, excellent team and communication skills and be willing to travel.
