To complement its growing team, Verity Studios is looking for a talented embedded software engineer capable of devel-oping and maintaining low level software for Verity Studios’ embedded platforms. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in topics such as bring-up of new hardware platforms, evaluation of system resource usage and de-velopment of high quality software.
Embedded Software Engineer
Your tasks will consist of participating in the full embedded software life cycle, including design, implementation, code reviews, testing, verification and validation. You will deliver highly reliable drivers for embedded processors (mostly ARM architecture), review and provide feedback on the firmware-specific and co-operate with electrical engineers to perform verification and validation of new boards.
The successful candidate must have a university degree in a relevant field, excellent knowledge of C and good knowledge of C++, a strong background in embedded systems: programming, debugging and testing, experience with scripting lan-guages (Bash, Python) and a good understanding of PCB schematics and digital communication interfaces (e.g. SPI, I2C). Furthermore he/she should have hands-on experience with logic analyzers and oscilloscopes, a creative approach to prob-lem solving as well as excellent team and communication skills.
