The Chair of Cognitive Science is part of the Department of Humanities, Social and Political Sciences (D-GESS) at ETH Zurich. Our group embraces the inter-disciplinary nature of Cognitive Science by reaching out to research and application partners in Behavioural Finance, Architecture, Design, Computing and Neuroscience. Student Assistant for an Internet Application Development in Domain of Behavioral Finance (15 hours/week)
Your main task will be to work on the development of internet-based software for computers and mobile devices. You will contribute to the ongoing research project devoted to the investigation of experiencing various financial market conditions. You will work jointly with the experimental staff of the chair and continue developing an existing application for the future research purposes.
We require knowledge databases, excellent frontend programming skills such as HTML/CSS/JavaScript and charting skills, backend engineering in C/Java/Python and Java and knowledge databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL.
