PhD Student in Multi-frequency OCT Vibrography
This position involves further developing and extending our efforts in the field of measuring and simulating static and dynamic mechanical tissue properties for diagnosis and medical therapy. The tasks will involve designing, developing, and testing novel ideas in cutting-edge research, as well as coordinating and conducting data collection for their evaluation. The position is open immediately.
To carry out the above tasks, we are looking for a highly motivated candidate with a masters degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields; as well as with enthusiasm for leading-edge research, team spirit, and capability for independent problem-solving. Good programming knowledge and experience with Matlab and C++ are desired. Fluent written and spoken English, as well as good communication skills are required. Interest, prior knowledge, and experience in one or more of the following is a plus: image processing, inverse problems and optimization, finite element simulations, and optical coherence tomography Systems.
