The Chair of Geoinformation Engineering at ETH Zürich is looking for a highly motivated PhD candidate, starting at the earliest possible date.
PhD position – Gaze-Based Interaction with Urban Environments
The main objective of the project Location-Aware Mobile Eye Tracking for Tourist Assistance is the investigation of novel gaze-based interaction methods for pedestrians in urban environments, with a focus on a tourist scenario. The project envisions mobile assistance systems that trigger information services based on a user’s gaze on 3D-objects in a real-world urban environment.
