Student Library Coordinator (40%)
As a member of our Communication Team, you will contribute to the maintenance and diversification of the CSS website’s Digital Library. You will gather, catalogue and index resources provided by assorted international relations and security studies organizations. (Note: The cataloguing includes writing original abstracts that describe the resource’s content.) We offer a challenging position in an international work environment that rewards initiative and professionalism. The workplace is central Zurich and the preferred start date would be in late July or early August.
The successful candidate is a hard-working student with an excellent academic record in international relations, political science or a related discipline. He/she should also be an adaptable and analytical thinker; have an affinity for IT; be well-organized; and be a team player who can also work independently. In addition to excellent spoken and written English, which is an absolute must, proficiency in German is desired. Knowledge of another language would be advantageous.
