With 2100 Bachelor's and Master's students, the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) is one of the largest and most diverse art academies in Europe. The fields of study and research include art education, design, film, fine arts, music, dance, theatre and transdisciplinarity. The Visual Communication institute develops skills in the visual communication of information and in the creative implementation of communication in all social contexts. It encompasses work for classic and digital media but always focuses on the conceptual and creative aspects of project work. The institute offers Bachelor's courses in Visual Communication, Master's courses in Visual Communication as well as research and cooperation projects.

We are looking for a person with a cross-media, future-oriented and critically reflective approach in Transformative Technologies and Digital Tools, who will introduce and further develop technological innovations in this field. International networking as well as research interests and experience are desirable to contribute historical, theoretical, technical and media expertise to the teaching area. In addition, you are an independent, communicative personality with strong organizational and conceptual skills who is familiar with the operational procedures of a university and is actively involved in the college and in student projects.
