Our Microbiological QC team helps ensure the quality and safety of every product leaving our facility. In this hands-on laboratory role, you will support the manufacture of sterile ophthalmic medicines through microbiological testing, Media Fill activities and daily laboratory operations. Your work directly contributes to product quality, patient safety and regulatory compliance.
Laboratory Technician Microbiology (80-100%)
Your Role
- Perform microbiological testing, including bioburden, water and sterility testing, to ensure product quality and safety.
- Prepare, monitor and maintain microbiological culture media required for routine laboratory activities.
- Support Media Fill activities and other key processes within sterile manufacturing.
- Maintain accurate GMP-compliant documentation and contribute to inspection readiness.
- Help ensure smooth laboratory operations through effective management of samples, materials and supplies.
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training as a biological, medical or comparable laboratory technician.
- Experience in microbiological quality control, ideally within a pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated environment.
- Knowledge of GMP requirements and laboratory documentation practices.
- You enjoy laboratory work, work with precision and take pride in delivering reliable results.
- Very good German language skills.
