Meyer Burger (Netherlands) BV develops high tech inkjet print systems for various end-markets amongst which Printed Electronics, Photo Voltaic, PCB Solder Masking and Semiconductor packaging. To commence work on February 1st 2020, or as per agreement we are looking for a Team lead System Design.

Your responsibilities

The system design team is responsible for system architecture and design, specification, implementation and commissioning as well as support for the production and manufacturing of the product portfolio within the Inkjet Printing group, both R&D as volume manufacturing equipment. The system design team is responsible for 3rd line (field) service of installed base. Further the team’s task is to generate all product documentation according the product creation procedures.

As the team leader, you are responsible for:

- Manage a team of 5 to 15 people, mainly bachelor and academic level;

- Overseeing all activities within the team and distributing information to team members and stakeholders;

- Keeping track of and structuring various tasks, employees and documents and determining the goals that members will work toward;

- Interacts with project leaders in various programs and secure allocation of staff;

- Reviews project plans and proactively support project realization;

- Responsible for all aspects of people management: training, performance management, coaching / mentoring, project assignments, resource / budgets;

- Communicates deadlines and sales goals to team members;

- Supports recruiting activities for the team and the organization;

- Supports the teams technology development: Stays current with the latest technology developments in your field;

- Secure quality of operation of the team by reviewing of technical solutions proposed, procedures and/or documentation delivered by the group;

- Manage stakeholders: Communicate with stakeholders and customers on a regular basis

- Create a vision and drive your team;

You are

A bachelor degree in Electrical-, Mechatronic- or Software engineering;

- Over 5 years proven experience in team management, preferably in a capital equipment business environment;

- Strong leadership and ownership skills;

- Strong communicative skills, both in writing and oral – ability to communicate effectively to your team, to senior management, to technology partners and to our customers;

- Team player with a strong quality orientation and highly developed interpersonal skills;

- Have direct experience in one or more technical fields;

- Capability to interface with multidisciplinary groups such as mechanical development, software development, logistics and service;

- Willing to take on responsibility, follow through and keep multiple simultaneous projects on schedule;

- Can work under deadlines;

- Able to read and interpret data, information, and documents;

- Can observe and respond to people and situations;

- Can learn and apply new information or skills;

- Native Dutch speaker or excellent level in Dutch language, speak and write fluent English;

- Lives maximum 100 kilometers from Eindhoven;
