The Advanced Lithography and Metrology and the Quantum Photon Science Groups in the Laboratory for X-ray Nanoscience and Technologies are looking for a
Your tasks
- Conceptualisation and design of state-of-the-art quantum nanostructures and devices, based on Rydberg states in silicon, within a team of scientists and students
- Characterisation of these nanostructures and devices using optical and electrical transport methods at cryogenic temperatures
- Publication and presentation of high-quality research in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences
Your profile
- You have a master’s degree in physical science or engineering, with a focus on quantum mechanics and/or condensed matter physics
- You have a keen interest in experimental research in quantum technologies and nanoscience
- You are a highly motivated team player with good communication skills
- Experience in some of the following fields will be of advantage: quantum science and engineering, transport measurements and optics
