For the Advanced Lithography and Metrology Group in the Laboratory for X-ray Nanoscience and Technologies we are looking for a

PhD Student in Fabrication of Quantum Devices

Your tasks

  • Development of scalable fabrication methods of quantum nanostructures and devices using EUV lithography and e-beam lithography 
  • Close cooperation with other team members of the team and contribute to conceptualization, design, and characterization of the devices 
  • Performing research of highest quality and publication in high impact factor journals and international conferences

Your profile

  • You have a master’s degree in science or engineering 
  • You have a keen interest in applied research in quantum technology and nanoscience 
  • You are looking for new challenges and you are eager to learn new methods 
  • You are a highly motivated team player with good communication skills 
  • Experience in some of the following fields will be of advantage: nanolithography, quantum science and engineering, optics, nanocharacterization methods such as, STM, AFM, and SEM
