The Macromolecular Crystallography (MX) group at the Swiss Light Source (SLS) is dedicated to advancing beamline performance and unlocking new opportunities for MX research. We provide state-of-the-art tools and continually expand our capabilities to support the scientific community and industry clients.
We are looking for a
Your tasks
- Develop novel methodologies for multi-temperature dynamic macromolecular crystallography
- Automate large scale multi-temperature MX experiments
- Investigate dynamic structural enzymology for selected targets
- Contribute to the development of MX beamlines for emerging applications
Your profile
- PhD in natural science or a related field
- Research experience in synchrotron-based macromolecular crystallography
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Proficiency in English

Our institution fosters an interdisciplinary, innovative and dynamic collaboration. You will work under the guidance of experienced beamline scientists and be part of the exciting development of new MX beamlines at the SLS 2.0, a newly constructed 4th generation synchrotron facility.
