For our Atmospheric Molecular Processes group we are looking for a
Your tasks
- Build smart data systems: Design scalable infrastructure for managing real-time data from atmospheric chamber experiments
- Integrate instruments & sensors: Develop robust pipelines for logging and backing up sensor and instrument data
- Visualize data in real time: Create dashboards and tools to support responsive chamber operations
- Support research workflows: Help implement electronic lab notebooks and ensure data quality, documentation, and researcher support
Your profile
- Master’s in computer science, Data Engineering, or related field; strong command of English.
- Proficient in Python; experience with data streaming and time-series databases (e.g., InfluxDB)
- Familiar with scientific instruments, sensors, and hardware communication protocols
- Experienced in data visualization (e.g., Grafana); version control (Git); clear, collaborative code practices
- Knowledge of automation systems, and ELNs is a plus
