Postdoctoral Fellow

Your tasks

The Laboratory for Neutron Scattering and Imaging (LNS) maintains a highly successful research collaboration with Danish partner universities through the Instrument Centre for Danish Users of Synchrotron and Neutron Sources (DanScatt). You will perform an independent and ambitious research program that leverages our advanced instrument suite. Additionally, you will support Danish researchers during their experiments at SINQ and strengthen the collaboration between LNS and DanScatt.

Your profile

We seek a talented and ambitious person who is highly motivated to work on hard or soft condensed matter physics or applied materials utilizing neutron techniques in a well-established research team within an international collaboration. The successful candidate holds a PhD in experimental physics or chemistry. Experience in neutron scattering techniques or neutron imaging is mandatory. You have good communication skills and enjoy working in a team-oriented interdisciplinary environment.
