For the Computational Fluid Dynamics Group, Laboratory for Simulation and Modelling we are looking for a
Your tasks
- Development of (1) a numerical modelling for boiling and condensation which can be coupled with VOF method, and (2) a thin film model on a wall
- Implementation of the developed models into the in-house unstructured finite volume CFD code T-Flows
- Perform simulations of radio-nuclide transport in gas flow and at the liquid metal-gas Interface, for the EU project LESTO
- Participate in the research project sponsored by swissnuclear
Your profile
- You have a PhD degree related to CFD
- You have experience of coding of CFD in C++ and/or Fortran language
- You are highly motivated, you can work independently and strive to contribute with new ideas
- You like to collaborate, enjoy teamwork and can clearly communicate in English with people from different backgrounds
