The Paul Scherrer Institute PSI is the largest research institute for natural and engineering sciences within Switzerland. The Particle Physics Theory Group at PSI is led by Michael Spira and Adrian Signer. The research topics of our group include higher-order corrections and effective-field-theory approaches for processes at the high-energy and intensity frontier. For more information about our group click here
For Particle Physics Theory Group we are looking for a
- Perform research in particle physics phenomenology with emphasis on topics related to experiments at PSI and LHC
- Help with the organization of colloquia and summer schools
- Maintenance of international scientific collaborations
- PhD degree in theoretical particle physics
- Expertise in higher-order perturbative calculations
- Publishing of research results in scientific literature and presentations at international conferences
