As creative minds interested in ultrafast research on material functions, you and your colleagues plan and realize ultrafast experiments using optical and Free Electron X-ray Lasers. You investigate the measurement and control of ultrafast wave packets in molecular materials during optical excitations. Your responsibilities include developing ultrafast laser sources to control optical excitations. As part of a multinational collaboration project, you interpret your experimental results.
- You look forward to using your PhD knowledge in physics, chemistry, or engineering to implement new experiments together with our team.
- You have experience either setting up hardware and software for ultrafast pump-probe experiments or applying X-ray diffraction and spectroscopy techniques.
- You feel comfortable taking the initiative in and engaging with an interdisciplinary, multinational research environment.
