For the coordination of the Swiss Accelerator Research and Technology Program (CHART) we are looking for a
Physicist / Engineer
with a background in physics and technology of particle accelerators
Your tasks
  • Administration of the CHART program that involves a broad spectrum of accelerator science and technological developments
  • Networking and coordination between the partner institutions including CERN, PSI, EPFL, ETH-Z and University Geneva
  • Coordination of scientific and financial reporting to the funding institutions
  • Project and resource planning, definition of milestones and deliverables
  • Organisation of project meetings and topical workshops
  • Participation in selected activities of the program
Your profile
  • PhD degree in physics
  • Experience with scientific project management
  • Communicative personality
  • You enjoy team work
  • Experience in accelerator physics/technology is desirable
