For our research on isotope separation we are looking for a
Development and application of a wet chemical separation and purification procedure for 44Ti from a complex matrix
Your tasks
You will participate in a research project concerning the recovery of Titanium-44 and other radionuclides from proton irradiated vanadium samples. Under the supervision of experienced radiochemists, you will carry out chemical separation experiments with radioactive materials and analyze the samples resulting from your experiments with radiochemical techniques.
Your profile
  • Student (Bachelor or Master) of chemistry, chemical engineering or related field
  • Practical experience in an analytical chemistry laboratory is advantageous
  • Prepared to carry out experiments with radioactive material
  • Good knowledge of the English language (thesis will be redacted in English)
