The Center for Proton Therapy at PSI has been treating cancer patients with protons since 1984 and is a leading center in this innovative treatment modality worldwide.
For the Dosimetry and Imaging Group within the Center for Proton Therapy we are looking for a
Your research will mainly focus on:
- Extraction of functional parameters from MR and PET images
- Implementation of 4D MRI imaging of functional parameters
- Characterization of local tumour aggressiveness and radiosensitivity based on imaging information
You should have a PhD degree in medical physics/biomedical-engineering or related subject, and have experience in imaging applications in radiotherapy. MRI imaging experience would also be advantageous as well as good and demonstrable software and IT skills. Furthermore, you should be prepared to work in a multinational and multidisciplinary team and have a good knowledge of English.
