Internship in River Restoration Ecology (100 %)
You will support the colleagues of the group in their practice-oriented research projects. Your main task will be to help a PhD student in her fieldwork on aquatic refugia in Swiss streams, performing e.g. habitat surveys, hydraulic measurements, macroinvertebrate and vegetation sampling, and data entering.

We are looking for a motivated, curious and careful colleague who enjoys teamwork and outdoor activities, also under demanding conditions (low temperatures during winter fieldwork). Prerequisite for the application is the enrollment at a university or college, ideally degree programm in Biology, Environmental Sciences or Environmental Engineering (bachelor or master's degree, but not yet completed). A good level of English is required. A driving license is an asset.
