Postdoctoral Researcher in Environmental Economics (Choice Modeling)
The project: The research group in Environmental Economics is looking for a prospective postdoctoral candidate to work on the economics of microplastics in freshwater ecosystems, with a main focus on analysis of related choice experiment data. The proposed research focuses on the methodological aspects and advancement of state-of-the-art discrete choice experiments to support decision making processes concerning public goods. The research will be carried out in close collaboration with Dr Ivana Logar (Eawag), Dr Jürgen Meyerhoff (TU Berlin) and Dr Klaus Glenk (SRUC, Scotland’s Rural College). The position is available for a period of 1 year, after which an extension might be considered.

Requirements:The prospective candidate for this position has experience with discrete choice experiments and choice modeling. A PhD degree in environmental economics is an advantage, although other disciplines will also be considered depending on the skill set. The position requires strong statistical and econometric skills and a good command of English in speaking and writing.
