Empa - the place where innovation starts

Empa is the research institute for materials science and technology of the ETH Domain and conducts cutting-edge research for the benefit of industry and the well-being of society.

A key area of research for Empa is in the field of different materials for a wide range of energy production and storage applications. The main objective of a multi-partner and interdisciplinary research project is to develop ceramic materials for high temperature thermal storage to store energy produced by solar generators. The project is in collaboration with a leading Swiss industrial partner in the field of solar energy conversion technologies as well as with a Swiss engineering company.

Within this project, our Laboratory for High Performance Ceramics offers a position for a

PostDoc in Ceramic Materials Research
