This research project is part of an Innosuisse financed large initiative developing an analytical platform for next generation high tech protection system anticipating the current needs in COVID-19 pandemic. In particular, development and assessment of antiviral coatings or materials attracted great interest. In this research project innovative, safe and cost effective method(s) to assess antiviral surfaces will be developed.
We are looking for a well-organized, highly self-motivated, excellent candidate interested in this interdisciplinary research topic. The candidate should hold a Bachelor or Master degree in either (biomedical) engineering, life science or a related field, with expert knowledge in developing and verifying novel methods and their application to novel designs of antiviral surfaces. Additional assets include experience in project management, good communication skills as well as team spirit.

The position (100%) is available from August 2020 or after negotiation and will be initially limited to two years.
