Our Laboratory for Mechanics of Materials and Nanostructures is offering a
Research is conducted in an international environment, in cooperation with several industrial and academic partners. Stable funding is provided through long-term European projects and industrial projects.
You will be able to assist in the development of electrochemical processes, such as anodisation and/or electrochemical deposition as well as in physical characterization of the processed structures (structural, optical, mechanical…)
We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher with qualifications in electrochemistry and either physics, chemistry or materials science. A strong desire to work at the leading edge of measurement science and a high level of motivation to work in an international, multidisciplinary research team in the field of materials science are essential. Knowledge of English (oral and written) is important and knowledge of German or French would be an advantage. Experience in material characterization withcutting edge analytical techniques for microstructure analysis such as Tem, Xps etc. and/or experience with "cleanroom" based electrochemical process technology such as Liga is a plus.
This position is available upon agreement for a period of one year, extendable up to three years.
