You will work in research and development projects in the fields of decentralized energy systems for buildings, quarters and cities. You will design and evaluate system concepts by modelling and numerical simulation and develop respective design and evaluation tools. You will translate your research ideas into projects, in close collaboration with our team and our external scientific and industry partners. You will support our PhD and postdoctoral students and publish in scientific journals and conferences.
You are a highly motivated and dedicated candidate with a MSc and preferably also PhD in energy, mechanical or process engineering. You have profound and interdisciplinary knowledge in energy and building technology and experience with model-based energy and building systems design. Experience with Modelica and programming experience in Python are preferred, but not required. You have experience with the development, acquisition and management of research projects. Excellent written and spoken language skills in English are mandatory and knowledge of German is advantageous.
