In order to reinforce the Logistic team in Geneva we are currently recruiting for a
Logistic Agent (shipping and customs)

This position is responsible for managing and preparing entire assembly kits out of storage materials and manufactured as ready-to-use and to the point-of-use. This includes this incoming, inventory, short term warehousing plus stores activities, dispatching, archiving of manufacturing documents for mechanical and electrical parts from overall production shops and installation teams.


Description/Tasks:
  • Expedite and route movement of incoming and outgoing shipments in appropriate transport.
  • Help organize the logistics, documentation and tracking of shipments.
  • Take orders from internal customers and arrange pickup of freight for delivery to loading platform.
  • Prepare and examine bills of lading to determine shipping charge and tariffs.
  • Determine method of shipment and prepare bills of lading, invoice and other shipping documents.
  • Negotiate and arrange transport of goods with shipping and freight companies.
  • Enter shipping information into SAP.
  • Processing customs files.
  • Ensure that everything is ready for all audits.
  • To ensure that the Shipping area is clean, tidy and in compliance of the Quality and Safety Policy.
  • Perform the Duty.
  • Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Logistic specialist or theSr Manager SCM.
Qualification/Experience:

—   Minimum of 1 year experience as logistic agent

—   Good communication and interpersonal skills

—   Good understanding of the aerospace industry and the regulatory framework is an advantage

—   Ability to work on shift

—   Apprenticeship or similar education in logistics or material management

—   Work experience in manufacturing business and understand electronic and mechanical part handling

—   Good IT knowledge (SAP R/3, MS-Office, etc…)

—   English level A2 minimum
