Production Engineering Technician
Integrated within the Engineering department, you will realize engineering or method deliverables, such as 3D models and 2D drawings as per rules and project requirements. Furthermore you will participate in developing certifiable technical solutions.
Description/Tasks:
- Support quotation on specific items
- Realize deliverables such as 3D models and 2D drawings for cosmetic items, proof of concept, tooling, standard parts, as per: Engineering and manufacturing rules and processes, Aviation rules and Standards, Project requirements
- Ensure a design to weight, design to cost and design to manufacturing approach in accordance with project requirements
- Provide support throughout engineering design cycle & manufacturing cycle
- Support manufacturing definition of critical project specific items
- Perform Continuous Improvement initiatives and ensure Lessons Learnt are well integrated
- React and address immediately risk items, identify project roadblocks
- Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Rework (Revision, DS, Concession, red Line, amendments) pending on activity related deliverables
- Responsible for meeting quality, schedule and cost requirements
- Support Engineer leads in the daily business operations
- Prepare-Check-Release certification and compliance documentation
Qualification/Experience:
- Technical certificate (preferably in aviation or related field) or minimum of 3 years in VIP mechanical Engineering
- Proficient with CAE & CAD tools (i.e. AutoCAD, Catia V5, Siemens NX, Teamcenter), and Microsoft Office
- Good interpersonal skills as per Jet Values
- Familiar with EASA & FAA regulation; FAR 25, JAR 25, CS 25 regulations in particular
- Comfortable to work in a stressful and highly demanding environment
- Language English (mandatory), French and/or German (nice to have)
- Ability to execute changes in a fast moving environment
