Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications APAC

The position of Senior Manager Marketing & Communications APAC is responsible for creating and implementing marketing and communication initiatives to support the APAC regional operations, leaders and sales teams.

The candidate will have a deep understanding and proven track record of leading the strategic and tactical execution of marketing and communication campaigns and activities, including business, product, services and brand campaigns and events, advertising, internal and external communications. You will lead a team to enhance the awareness and positioning of Jet Aviation across APAC and ensure full integration across all marketing and communication channels and work to deliver a positive multi-channel experience for internal and external stakeholders.

You will - proactively manage key relationships with partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to deliver on regional strategies that complement the global vision and brand. The candidate must be able to work with multiple teams simultaneously, thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and connect unexpected threads across disparate delivery teams.

  • Full ownership for developing and implementing strategic marketing and communication plans and initiatives in alignment with Jet Aviation’s APAC strategies to support revenue and drive brand growth and engagement
  • Identify and execute marketing and communication opportunities that correlate with the strategic plans for APAC MRO, Flight Services and Government Business
  • Create and develop messaging around various topics, including APAC strategy, priorities, and announcements
  • Identify opportunities and implement initiatives and programs to increase employee and media awareness and engagement
  • Work with Sales, Operations, and the use of market data to develop and update marketing strategies to meet changing market and competitive conditions
  • Collaborate with sales teams to drive marketing efforts targeted at existing and new markets
  • Work closely with APAC Operations to achieve pre-defined short and long-term goals
  • Work closely with sites to develop an understanding of unique service offerings to help drive the value proposition
  • Develop and implement marketing initiatives; define and create specific strategies and tactics to meet marketing needs applying print, online, social media, and all other appropriate media
  • Develop and implement marketing initiatives to drive customer acquisition / interaction / retention in-line with the brand values
  • Responsibility and accountability for driving brand awareness and adoption, supporting sales growth, and fostering operational success across APAC, through effective and measurable marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Leads media relations across APAC and supports global, prepares and shares information concerning the company to the media and wider community to gain understanding and acceptance
  • Own and administer the budget for APAC Marketing & Communications
  • Develops and implements lines of communication with the use of technology to ensure our messages are effectively deployed via multiple channels to reach all employees, customers and media
  • Support the development of the marketing team by recruiting, orienting, training and growing team members
  • Work closely with Global Digital, Communications, Events and the US and EMEA colleagues to ensure marketing and communications are on message and brand at all times
  • Collaborate with Global Customer Service in the positioning of Jet Aviation in APAC
  • Degree or Diploma in related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years in leading marketing and/or communications role
  • Excellent communication skills
