Aftermarket Sales & Services Manager (80 %)
As the Aftermarket Sales & Services Manager of Jet Aviation you will be responsible to successfully deliver outstanding support to our worldwide based customers on aircraft parts and MRO services. You will be responsible for a portfolio of customers offering parts sales, engineering services, such as STC developments and Minor modifications, as well as shop services, such as wheels and brakes, emergency equipment, engines, APU’s repairs and overhauls. Furthermore, you will be responsible to manage off-site refurbishment projects and will ensure that the customer requests are delivered on time ensuring the finest quality
Description/Tasks:
  • Provide sales, repairs and rentals of parts
  • Provide internal shop services for any kind of support (wheels and brakes, emergency equipment, plating, refurbishment, etc. repairs and overhauls)
  • Provide engineering services such as STC development and Minor modification packages
  • Issue engineering queries and preparing quotations to customers
  • Purchasing and selling parts to and on behalf of our customers
  • Working within a dynamic team, some ‘duty work’ as per company rules may be requested
  • Represents Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies and the General Dynamics network
Qualification/Experience:
  • 3-5 years’ experience in aeronautics, logistics or purchasing
  • Very good English level, both written and verbal
  • In depth understanding of the aerospace industry, OEM’s, and the regulatory framework
  • Strong sales and technical background
  • Engineering Bachelor degree or similar from an accredited university
  • Project Management experience
  • Strong negotiation, communication and influencing skills
Desired Characteristics
  • IT knowledge (SAP R/3, etc.)
  • Knowledge of German and/or French is a plus
  • Results driven – able to execute with high personal accountability
