In order to reinforce the PPI team in Basel we are currently recruiting for a
(Team Lead) CAMO & Pre-Purchase Inspection Engineer

As a Pre-Purchase Inspection Engineer of Jet Aviation, you are accountable for production of aircraft technical documentation reviews for aircraft within the Pre Purchase Inspection process. You are responsible to liaise with aircraft brokers, customer CAMO / operators, technical / legal representatives, NAA representatives along with the aircraft group maintenance teams, to ensure the process progresses in a satisfactory manner. Upon completion of each project, a report is to be submitted providing a comprehensive overview of the aircraft. Upon delivery of this report, technical support is provided, to stakeholders, assisting closure of findings and onward completion of the aircraft transaction. Depending on experience we are recruiting as well for a Team Leader of this CAMO & PPI team. You will be responsible for the daily operations of the team as well the link to the head of the department.

  • Perform aircraft technical documentation review
  • Liaise with all project stakeholders
  • Creation of technical report and subsequent support through to aircraft transaction
  • Perform aircraft documentation digitization
  • Represents Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups,regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network
  • Completion of technical documentation reviews to JBSL Quality, Cost & Delivery requirements
  • Customer satisfaction during the project life cycle
  • (Leadership responsibilities/ daily guidance of the team)

  • 5 years experience working within and EASA Part M Organisation
  • 5 years experience working within a MCC or CAMO department with a demonstrated understanding of continued airworthiness or C license Engineer & 2 years experience working within a MCC department
  • In depth understanding of aviation, NAA requirements, and regulatory framework
  • Bachelors degree in aerospace / mechanical engineering, or similar from an accredited university
  • Results driven – able to execute with high personal accountability
  • Customer focused – externally focused - strong market perspective
  • High business and financial acumen
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Strong project management experience
  • Leadership experience is a plus
