Workshop Technician - Engine Shop

Description/Tasks:
  • Perform routine maintenance checks, including LRU changes, repair, and modifications on aircraft engines and APUs IAW aircraft and engine/APU manuals and JBSL procedures without supervision
  • Perform MPIs without supervision and report to superior
  • Issue certificate release to service if holding S license
  • Perform the necessary paperwork and documentation of their performed task
  • Trigger Additional Work Requests by contacting his superior
  • Perform the necessary paperwork and documentation of their performed task
  • Responsible for own work and performance iaw JBSL procedure
  • Clarify questions / issues with the appropriate OEM
  • Report issues, non-conformity, damages to next superior
  • Train colleagues on Engine Shop tasks
  • Clean and maintain work area by 5S and good housekeeping standards
  • Maintain tools, use equipment and machines IAW internal regulation
  • Follow and apply health and safety regulations
  • Working as a part of a team under the advice of the superior
Qualification/Experience:
  • 5 years’ experience as Engine Mechanic L2 working on all types of engines, APUs or aircraft
  • Able to understand planning discrepancy ,apply defined process and formulate corrective action
  • Proven ability and knowledge within each specific function performed by the team, able to work on complex projects
  • Able to perform  task by external support (work away from JBSL)
  • CSM  S or B1 authorization
  • Knows internal rules and procedures
  • Knows industry rules, health and safety regulations
  • Able to read and interpret technical manuals
  • Able to work efficiently with IMRO, MOMR
  • Mechanical apprenticeship completed with appropriate educational qualification
  • Basis level of computer skills
  • Good spoken English is required, reading and writing is mandatory
