In order to reinforce the Completion Business Operation Support team in Basel we are currently recruiting for a temporary assignment of one year a
Scheduler (temporary)

As the Scheduler function of Jet Aviation you will be responsible for all Project Management performance core activities. You will be owning project configuration, schedule, management and performance controlling and coordination activities with all stakeholders during the full project main phases with an end to end horizon.  

As Jet Aviation’s Scheduler function your actions have to be in line with the organization’s vision and strategy. You will be collaborating closely with various stakeholders throughout the company to ensure on time, on costs and on quality program executions, development and gains in efficiencies to ensure organic growth, and think out of the box to continuously improve (PDCA methodology).

Main responsibilities:
  • Plan, monitor and manage internal projects from initiation through completion  
  • Ensure project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost
  • Monitor performance and recommend schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions
  • Coordinate all activities linked to Schedule adherence or costs as a project core team member in a matrix organization
  • Investigate facts and develop solutions to problems during program execution and sales prospects dynamic environment; identify risks & opportunities when dealing with execution, resource and manage mitigation plans
  • Provide timely and accurate information and status updates to functional leaders and Senior Management
  • Prepare ETC updates based on Earned Value Management System, Program execution and resource loaded plans for Completions and RMU projects
  • Responsible for feasibility studies and field trial management
Minimum requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering / Project Management of an accredited university with 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience
  • Thorough knowledge of processes, procedures and concepts in functional area
  • Strong understanding of broader business aviation context
  • Initial experience in leading functional / cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills to solve complex issues
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluent in English and intermediate knowledge in German and/or French
