EMAR Quality Director

Description/Tasks:

·Oversee and Manage all Jet EMAR Quality/Safety issues

·Implement and manage JBSL Quality/Safety standards into the Jet Aviation EMAR Part 145 and Part M world

·Manage and ensure the fulfillment of daily operational and long-term deliverables

·Manage, monitor, and ensure the validity of all EMAR approvals. Liaise with National Airworthiness Authorities on approval applications, MOE, and audit matters

·Implement and continually improve the independent compliance monitoring and feedback system to ensure compliance with EMAR and aviation SMS requirements, established standards and practices

·Establish and execute an Audit plan covering all Sites and Aspects of the EMAR network

·Review and maintain MOE / CAME / SMS Manual and related EMAR Part 145/M procedures to ensure regulatory compliance

·Review and process EMAR Part 145 capability list amendments

·Manage the aviation internal occurrence reporting system, and ensure lessons learned are effectively communicated throughout the organization

·Conduct MEDA / Occurrence Report investigation and monitor the effectiveness of the Human Factor Error Management process

·Implement and manage ERP procedures on all sites

·Create and manage the EMAR documentation system, assess system efficiency & control, and assess if communication on changes and updates is effective

·Coordinate EMAR Part 145 certifying staff assessments and license issues with relevant Personnel

Qualification/Experience:

·Minimum ten years of experience in an aircraft maintenance environment, out of which five years in a quality/safety assurance environment

·Able to drive results, change and teamwork.

·Familiarity with the tools, concepts and methodologies of aviation quality / safety management and continual improvement

·In-depth knowledge and qualification of EMAR & EASA Part 145, Part M, Part 66, Part 147, Human Factors, SMS, MEDA investigation, ISO9000 auditing concepts, ISO14001 & 45001 experience

·Excellent communication skills in English and French both written and verbal

·Effective report writing and procedure / process writing skills

·Excellent analytical abilities to grasp the key points from complicated details

·Good leadership qualities to drive quality / aviation safety programs to successful completion

·Self-starter, Client, and service-focused attitude

·Problem solving and facilitation skills

·Project Management Experience

·Degree in a mechanical / electrical / industrial / aeronautical engineering or hold an ICAO aircraft maintenance license or pilot’s license. Post graduate diploma / certificate
