In order to reinforce the FBO team in Geneva, we are currently recruiting for an
FBO Manager

The position is required to oversee all aspects of the FBO including private handling, fuel sales, hangar and apron parking sales, new business development, customer retention, quality control, human resources, and environmental, health and safety compliance.

• Create new opportunities and actively sell the FBO services by developing and maintaining relationships with existing and potential new customers to achieve the defined sales targets and budget.
• Provide leadership and direction for world-class uncompromising service.
• Must be able to lead by example and set standards for all functional areas.
• Understand the market and growth opportunities for the FBO.
• Develop and implement the FBO sales and marketing strategy, including the development of action plans, deal, negotiations, and deal closure.
• Maintain regular interaction with customers to promote the FBO and to measure the level of customer satisfaction while using customer feedback to continually develop and improve upon capabilities and processes.
• Conduct on-going competitive analysis to include pricing, selling points and product offerings.
• Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with Jet Aviation’s policies and all applicable laws and regulations.
• Responsible for financial management of the FBO including EBIT and Gross Margin targets, capital expenditures, budgeting, forecasting and expense management.
• Maintain a close relationship and cooperate with the local airport administration to the benefit of Jet Aviation.
• Audits: Maintain and review departmental procedures and practices, ensuring all documentation is kept up to date.
• Establish a culture that promotes safety through daily observation, shift briefings, training and documented safety procedures, monthly safety meetings, and routine audits.
• Encourage employee involvement and suggestions in the improvement and growth of the FBO, its people and its processes.
• Interview, hire, and train employees; conduct merit and performance reviews; plan, assign, and direct work while ensuring appropriate staffing levels are maintained; address employee relation issues.
• Ensure employees receive company communications and necessary training to include safety, customer service standards, company values, etc. as well as ensuring training and development of employees to improve work performance and maximize employee potential.
• Day-to-day management of all FBO operations.
• Support and push the Safety & Quality Management System and establish a positive safety culture throughout the staff, making sure the teams adhere to the system.
• Supporting and adhering to the safety and quality policy.
• Responsible for the operation, safety and security of the facility and the safety of all personnel, passengers, baggage, and cargo, when services are provided.
• Ensuring that operations will not be commenced if an employee is incapacitated from performing duties by any cause such as injury, sickness, fatigue, or the effects of any psychoactive substance.
• Responsibility for the security of the facility during operations.
• Ensuring that the support equipment is operational.
• Other duties as required and per assignment.
• B.A. or B.S. in Business or related field.
• Aviation experience and background.
• Fluent English language skills.
• Knowledge of French is desirable but not required.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to positively relate and communicate.
• Must be able to respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees, customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community.
• Must be able to effectively communicate and present information to supervisors, peers, subordinates, senior management, subordinates, public groups, and/or boards.
• Provide leadership and direction for world-class uncompromising service.
• Ability to work under time pressure
• Excellent negotiation and sales skills
• Good knowledge of MS-Office applications
