In order to reinforce our Sales Team we are currently recruiting for a
Regional Sales Director

In this role located in Basel, you will be responsible for the sale of MRO/RMU and FBO products for Jet Aviation EMEA/APAC. Your responsibilities will be also for sales development and new customer acquisition in EMEA region. Your scope of work will be also to negotiate contracts and projects subject to company policy in terms of prices and delivery dates. This role is the focal point of contact for our customers out of the defined territory. 

  • Full accountability for achieving sales objectives for MRO/RMU and FBO out of the region
  • Effectively represents Jet Aviation sites in front of customers, OEMs, partners, etc.
  • Regular customer visits and built-up of relevant MRO/FBO market segment with respect to customers, decision-makers, authorities, partners , representatives
  • Responsible for new business development through prospecting, qualifying, selling and closing opportunities. Manages client relationship through the full sales cycle
  • Plans sales visits efficiently. Prepares for sales visits through appropriate customer and market research
  • Responsible for issuing responds to RFQs. Provides quotes to customers and ensures necessary follow up to ensure effective project closing
  • Provides accurate for quotes in accordance with customer expectations and site demands
  • Regular interaction with quotation and revenues management on preparation of quotes
  • Handover of projects into operations and Large a/c group at point of sales
  • Regular customer visits and built-up of relevant network in Large a/c market segment with respect to customers, decision-makers, authorities, partners, representatives
  • Active participation in shows, conferences, etc.
  • Planning of business volume on OEM and respective follow-up
  • Participation in regular site / product sales calls
  • Pivotal data accuracy on accounts, business opportunities and follow-up status
  • Weekly Sales reports on activities and sales achievements
  • Close and regular interaction (dotted-line reporting) with Site leaders and PMO`s
  • Active customer support and customer care activities of customers in BSL during their project downtime
  • Represent Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies and the General Dynamics network
• Minimum 7 years in an equivalent Sales role (preferably in aviation)
• Bachelor’s degree required, with other relevant advanced degree preferred
• Significant experience in Sales
• Fluent in English
• Results driven – able to execute with high personal accountability
• Customer focused – externally focused - strong market perspective
• High business and financial acumen
• Strong influencing skills
