Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Cairns, Australia)

Seeking qualified and experienced B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to support our Cairns MRO facility.

  • Perform assigned tasks with regard to heavy and line base maintenance;
  • Ensure work is completed and signed off by a licensed engineer in accordance with CASA regulations;
  • Identify and report all OH&S issues;
  • Write up and sign off of work completed each day;
  • Create and update work orders in a timely manner.
  • Certificate IV in Mechanical Aeroskills or equivalent qualifications;
  • CASA Part 66 B1 or equivalent license;
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in compliant environment;
  • Ability to work in a high pressure environment;
  • Heavy maintenance experience working in an aircraft maintenance facility performing system maintenance and modifications;
  • Demonstrated understanding of aviation regulatory requirements for aircraft systems maintenance.
