Line & Ramp Services Agent

As a Line & Ramp Services Agent are you responsible for maintaining the equipment and assist in the handling of VIP passengers and international crews throughout the various stages of their arrival and departure at our handling facilities at Jet Aviation Zurich.

  • Ensure the safe maneuvering of aircraft on the apron through staff training and operating instructions
  • Provide basic handling services such as valet parking, porter service, crew transportation, delivery of luggage and cargo from/to aircraft, water and toilet service etc.
  • Safe operation of ground support equipment (GSE)
  • Ensure cleanliness of facilities – ramp garage, lounge, shower, catering room, break room, etc.
  • Support Supervisors / Team Leaders as required
  • Fully adhere to all Jet Aviation and Airport policies and all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintain a positive and professional first impression by exhibiting the proper demeanor, organization and service level to arriving and departing guests
  • Adhere to the department standards of excellence for exceptional customer service, grooming and dress code
  • Ensure that all services provided are properly recorded in FBO1 for billing
  • Maintain all FBO equipment and vehicles in good operating condition and appearance
  • Other duties as required
  • General education degree required
  • Several years of work experience - Aviation experience and background is an advantage
  • Good level in German (written and verbal, including understanding of Swiss German) is a must, English knowledge
  • Additional languages are a benefit
  • A valid valid driver’s licence, category B is mandatory
  • Very good mental and physical health and the ability to work under pressure and work with technical equipment
  • Friendly and outgoing personality with a "Can-do Attitude" and willingness to go the "Extra Mile"
  • Flexibility - willingness to work shifts (5.40 a.m. - 10.30 p.m., 7 days a week)
  • Readiness and ability to work independently
  • Teamwork and team-oriented behavior in a multicultural team is part of your daily routine
  • Basic User knowledge of Microsoft Office and web based applications is desired
