We are looking for a highly motivated Demand Planner to join our Supply Chain team in Bettlach. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the right products are available at the right time to meet customer demand while supporting production and inventory planning.

What You Will Do

  • Generate and manage demand forecasts for implants and instrument sets, balancing sales expectations and inventory investments.
  • Collaborate with Production Planning and Purchasing to define production volumes based on demand forecasts.
  • Monitor stock levels across regions and assigned products to ensure optimal inventory availability.
  • Collect and analyze sales forecasts and historical data, identifying trends, outliers, and seasonal effects.
  • Participate in new product development projects for assigned products, providing input from a demand perspective.
  • Maintain accurate material management parameters (lead times, lot sizes, reorder points) in the Demand Planning software.
  • Prepare reports and statistics to support demand planning decisions.
  • Ensure smooth execution of product phase-in, replacements, and phase-out plans with regard to material availability.
  • Uphold and promote a culture of information security and personal data protection.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain, or demand planning in a multinational company.
  • Strong knowledge of material planning principles and practices in production and purchasing.
  • Hands-on experience in demand planning, inventory management, logistics, and warehouse methodologies.
  • Proactive, action-oriented, and a collaborative team player.
  • Strong drive for results and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a regulated industry (cGMP, FDA, ISO 13485) is a plus.
  • Fluency in English (B2 or higher); German and/or Italian skills are advantageous.
