PostDoc in Spatial Optimisation (f/m/d)
The goal of this project is to strengthen the transition from research to practice finding answers to the urgent challenge of maintaining biodiversity while ensuring the provision of energy in Switzerland. As a PostDoc in this project, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of experts in the fields of land use planning, energy production, and biodiversity conservation to develop sustainable land use strategies that balance the needs of the environment and the economy. You will be responsible for conducting spatial analysis, developing optimization models, and evaluating the trade-offs between different land use options.
