As a private consulting and platform organization working on behalf of the Confederation and the cantons with around 200 employees and more than 3,000 partners worldwide, S-GE supports its customers with their international business development in more than 130 countries each year. S-GE has its own teams (Swiss Business Hubs, SBHs) in approximately 45 countries. The Swiss Business Hubs are integrated into the diplomatic missions of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA).

For our Zurich office, we are seeking a resource to start immediately or on a mutually agreed date: Strategic Governance + Sustainability Manager (80-100%).
Your Duties
  • Lead the cross-departmental sustainability project team and ensure that sustainability is meaningfully integrated into the core operations of various departments.
  • Act as the internal centre of expertise for sustainability by providing guidance across the organization and representing S-GE in external sustainability-related matters.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director Strategic Governance + Services and senior leadership to maintain and strengthen the relationship with our institutional partner SECO, coordinating expert inputs and ensuring clear and consistent communication.
  • Support the preparation of reports for SECO, the Executive Board, and the Board of Directors, and contribute to the development and optimization of KPI and business intelligence processes, helping ensure transparency and providing insightful analysis for decision-making.
  • Support stakeholder management across the organization by acting as a sparring partner for departments, driving cross-functional optimizations, and empowering Key Account Managers.
  • Take a leading role in coordinating legal and compliance matters across the organization, including working closely with external counsel, and drive the development and implementation of robust contract management processes.
  • Conduct strategic analyses and support or lead corporate-level projects on behalf of the Chief Corporate Services + Development Officer.
Your Profil
  • University degree (university or university of applied sciences) preferably in economics, political science, law or a related field.
  • Solid work experience in international business, corporate affairs, and/or collaboration with public institutions at national or international level.
  • Minimum of five years of professional experience, including project management within strategic or business development contexts.
  • Practical knowledge and professional experience in the field of sustainability.
  • Strong analytical skills, confidence working with data, a sensitivity to legal considerations, and a hands-on approach.
  • Structured and self-organized working style with a proactive mindset and strong sense of responsibility.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder coordination.
  • Fluency in German (near-native level) and excellent command of English (C1); French is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
