Its mission is to prevent, combat, and eradicate poverty sustainably. To fulfill this mission, Caritas Switzerland promotes equity by supporting inclusive communities that offer opportunities to everyone, irrespective of their ethnic background, group affiliation, or gender. Since 1999, Caritas has been active in Kosovo, focusing on social inclusion, rural development, and rehabilitation.
